About Us
Govt. Shahid Kaushal Yadav College,Gundardehi was established on 25th 2005.In the beginning there were only 3 students and 1 science faculty were there.It was running in Higher Secondary School of Gundardehi and then in 2005 it was shifted to the building where its running currently.Governed by Chhattisgarh Higher Education Department ,the college is affiliated to Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University,Raipur as per order 3278/Aca/Affiliation/2008 Raipur Dated 23.12.2008.
Govt. College Gundardehi was named as Govt. Shahid Kaushal Yadav College by Chhattisgarh govt. In the loving memory of martyr Kaushal Yadav who laid his life fighting battle against enemy at Kargil.
Aims of College:-To render service to needy deserving students.
Infrastructure
At present College doesnot have its own building.Its running in a primary school which is single storeyed .it has one principal chamber ,one staff room ,office room,4 classrooms and 2 toilets,principal sir’s regular strife and effort has enabled to convert 1 classroom into lab where students carryout practicals.Their Annual Practical Exams of Botany,Microbiology and chemistry are also conducted here.
Library:-As there is no Librarian post its looked after by Prof. Mrs. Nigar Ahmed of English Department.There are 1787 general books,157 books in SC book bank,80 books in ST book bank and 257 in BPL book bank.
General Rules of The College
• Once a student takes admission in the college, She has to pay the fee of the whole academic session even if she discontinues in the middle of the session. The Total fee paid to the institution is not refundable (except caution money) in any circumstances.
• Principal has the right to cancel the admission of any student in case she :- does not pay her fee in time. does not show satisfactory progress in studies. if her conduct and behavior is not found satisfactory.
• Principal has the right to cancel the admission of any candidate at any time without disclosing the reasons. No legal action can be taken in this matter.
• In accordance with University regulation of C.G. Govt. 75% attendance is compulsory in every subject for appearing in the University Examination. The rules and regulations as introduced from time to time by the Governing Body of the college, State Govt., Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University or any Statutory body will be binding on all the students.
• As per the decision of the Supreme Court ragging is a punishable offence. Any Student found indulging in this misdeed is liable to five year's imprisonment, rustication from the institution or non eligibility to admission as regular student for three years.
• Student should fill Hostel admission form in case she wants to avail the facility.
• Admission will be done immediately after the date of publication of result of the previous examination. Fees will be accepted at the time of admission.
• Intimation of admission will not be communicated to the individual applicants. Names of students selected for admission will be displayed on the college Notice Board
