professor K.D chawle,asst. Prof. Economics incharge of NSS unit at govt. S.K.Y college gunderdehi. This unit was opened in the year 2008.at the beginning of there were 10 students and first camp of 10 days was organised at bhatagaon,8km from gunderdehi .more number of students took part in camp organised second time at sirpur .prof . chawle’s regular attempt could help lokesh kumar ,sanjeev kumar of B.A.I, gunderdehi college to participate state level camp .prof chawle motivates boys and girls to participate the programmes organised by camp.

since college does not have proper post for sports officer ,prof H.L VERMA of political science department is incharge of sports .under his kind supervision every year lots of sports programmes are organised atr college premises .prof. verma inspire the students to participate in district ,university level sports and tournaments .
Dani ram of B.A 3rd 2011-12 has brought laurels to govt. College ,gunderdehi by representing pt. Ravishanker shukla uni versity ,Raipur in National Atheletics Tournament at Banglore.
